automatically load new frontend version
having at least an option to automatically load new frontend versions when the frontend loads would be useful, especially because i tend to run on the dev branch and update semi-frequently

Implementing this without it randomly ending a users session is a bit more complicated, especially with how fickle service workers are about actually updating on their own.
