Request:

• The ability to categorise dead jobs by their error message ("can't register like for unknown note", etc.)
• The ability to mass-"bury" (delete) categorised dead jobs
• The ability to mass-"revive" (retry) categorised dead jobs

With mastodon, I installed a "sidekiq-undertaker" plugin that allows me to view dead jobs' categories of error messages, and punt or delete them;

This becomes very useful when suddenly a server doesn't respond properly (with an increase in ActivityPub::ProcessingWorker errors that don't go away after a retry), or with certain bugs in the codebase (such as TypeErrors there). I use this to find, report, and often also submit fixes around these bugs, and to also feedback to other admins that federation might not be properly working.

The naming just comes from how mastodon has it here, it doesn't need to be like that, with it just being "delete" and "retry", etc.

Having a feature like this would also please my autism / sparks joy, in that i can prune and properly tend towards the instances' problems, and handle them.
